it comes in charcoal black and beige from antec (I think), and blue from enermax (again, I think). and stealth/true black from directron.com.. if you want pictures of the stealth black let me know..'
If you are a purist at heart, then yes, you will be dissapointed by what Antec is calling black in the SX1030B. However, I think that the charcoal Black SX1030B is a very nice looking case (matches my speakers great!)
The main differences between the Antec named cases and the ones that don't have the Antec name (other than colour) are the number of 80mm fans included and the PS. From what I have seen, the only included PS better than Antec's are made by Enermax. Also, Antec's case comes with 2 fans while some of the other come with three.
I picked up an Antec case under a different name with a black body and a blue front plate with three fans and an 300W Enermax PS. I bought it is CentralComputers here in SF.
Ok, so are the only differences between the Antec SX1030B and the Directron D30B the color (charcoal vs stealth, respectively) the number of included fans, and the option of the power supply? I just want to know if there are any actual differences in the case, not the included accessories. I called up Directron and the guy told me that the D30B comes with 1 less 5.25" bay, but he didn't seem to know what he was talking about completely and the website indicates identical bay specs.
Do any of you have a black IBM monitor? I have one and was wondering if the black Directron case would go better with it than the Antec charcoal color. In the notes for the Antec case it says its more like the IBM stealth black but every picture Ive seen of it makes it look too gray.
Ok, I have the black (charcoal) Antec case, it is a stunning looking case. I think the Antec charcoal black is far easier on the eye than the stealth black which gives it a cheap IBM aptiva look IMO.
