Just downloaded it, using it to post this. Pretty neat. Will definitely take some getting used to.

been using it for a couple weeks now, i REALLY like it.
i'm amazed at how sloppily i can swype and it will still get the word right.

my only annoyance is when i use "a" in a sentence. i hit a, and then it brings up the suggestion box and i have to hit the A there. there's probably a simple fix, but i don't know it yet :)

hrmmm.....

My initial reaction was "this is stupid". However, I will try it before I judge.

Very interesting software. I am using it now on my Nexus. On my old Mytouch I could see this being very handy. On the Nexus though, I'm not so sure. The touchscreen is so responsive already I'm pretty dang quick texting. I'll give it a try for a few days though and see what I think.

I've had it for a couple of days on my droid and I like it. Takes a little getting used to and I'm still learning all the shortcuts. I wish it would auto capitalize letters after a period, and for some words it's a little hit or miss. Still, for a beta product, it definately has potential and should only get better from here.

i was messing with it while playing with the omnia 2. pretty darn cool, and easy to adapt to. they shut down xda and modaco from using it in their custom ROMs tho, due to piracy concerns. their respective communities have removed all links to it, as well as deleted it off their ROMs.

It's amazing for Winmo devices, but thena gain they are coming from resistive. Dunno about Android, and especially with multi-touch keyboard support really around the corner is there a reason for this?

After using it on my Nexus for a day I have to say i'm very impressed. This definitely makes typing much faster than the standard tap method. Quite a solid product. I'll continue using it.

Gave it a try on the Droid - not a fan.

Two things bother me - first, it's bad on "non-words". Basically, email addresses, last names, some abbreviations and whatnot. If you want to input those, the only way I've found is to tap each letter individually like the standard keyboard. I also haven't found a way to get it to "learn" the words so I don't need to type them in the future.

Second, I miss the auto-complete feature the standard keyboard has. It's actually quite smart, and oftentimes you only need to enter 2 or 3 letters of the word and then tap the option to fill in the rest. And best of all, it seemingly learns words and email addresses, so even non-dictionary words get listed.

I'm going to play around with it a bit more, but I'm sticking with the standard for now.

First - To have it learn a word, you simply type it in, such as S-w-y-p-e then when it shows "Swype" on the menu, you select it. Now it knows it. Simple huh?

Second - Most people just keep typing without looking at the keyboard so the idea of autocomplete is to fill in and correct your mistakes. It seems like you type a few letters, wait for the suggestion, the tap the word. When you are typing on a regular computer keyboard, do you watch you fingers and "peck" or do you look at the screen?
