You guys keep track of stuff eh? 😛

We decided to wait closer to launch of SWTOR to build and his PC with the 9800GT finally started running hot enough that we pulled the trigger now...🙂
 
Well it's going to be a great build, and the GTX 570 should be great for BF3. I have a 570 as well and was able to run high settings in the beta.

It was just a vague deja vu feeling, but then after you didn't respond I got curious and dug through the post history a bit more.

I don't understand why you are posting this again tbh, you already got a lot of advice from everyone here and it seems to me that you had your mind made up from the start about the rig. Would you have changed your mind if people recommended, say, a 6950 instead? I feel that you would have gone with the gtx 570 no matter what our input was.

I always like to hear what others have to say...

Sure, I came in with my mind 90% made up but I did make some changes based on feedback...

I consider myself a bit above a rookie builder so I will always look for some affirmation of my choices from more learned guys like MFENN and MNEWSHAM as well as others...

But you are right, you eventually have to PULL THE TRIGGER and go with your decision...

And I'm a post ho...LMAO!
 
You seem like the coolest Dad I've never met. My Dad doesn't even like using computers, much less my brothers and I gaming on them.
