Tempted to buy it on Steam, $30 for the game + two semi-expansions.

but...figured i'd gather an opinion here before I do since i should take a break from buying games after 2 minutes reading about them...

I enjoyed Imperium Galactica II for a while and of course MOO2 was badass.

I am also interested in this game. Is it better than galactic civilizations 2? I haven't played either and I'd like to try one of them.

played sins - decent

played gal civ 1 too, also not bad, not as good as sins though, imo.

Not sure if Gal Civ 2 is that much different so i havent tried that yet

I liked it a lot. Didn't have as much fun with it as say MoO2, but it was good. Probably liked it about as much as Sins, but really I never got into either game too seriously.

Have to agree with everything you said. Its a good buy for the complete pack on Steam.
