Switzerland - where to go?

I need some time away. Fancy something relaxing like a log cabin or anywhere quiet like that. any suggestions? don't wanna break the bank tho.

switzerland is pricey man. Interlachen (think its spelled this way) is really nice though. Beautiful, quaint city. Here's some other cities

Can't help you but get that travel pass. Gah! What's the damned thing called. Anyway, for set price you can use any public transportation for the duration of the pass. Very useful and a money saver. Anyway, enjoy your visit. Its a beautiful country.

when i said interlocken was hot i meant that in a slang sense meaning its a great place.

Switzerland is beautifull.
Swiss Alpes are nice.Loseanne nad the capital are fine cities.

In addition to Interlaken, check out Luzern, too. Gorgeous place. Stayed up at the top of Mt. Rigi last year (just outside of Luzern) and saw the sunrise and sunset.

For the log cabin thing, you might wanna check out a small town like Grindelwald (I think that's how it's spelled). Interlaken's a good base though, as it's basically the gateway to the Bernese Oberland region.

Oh, and make sure you take the train ride from Luzern to Interlaken. You will not be disappointed.

Interlaken is touristy. Do yourself a favor and check out the Lauterbrunnen valley. It remains the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

touristy? which interlaken did you goto ?

perhaps you went during a "touristy" time of year.
