Since I still cant figure out how to run SETI hidden, I will be switching the school computers I have assimilated from Seti to RC5. Well, heres another 2GHz for Team Anandtech!
LOL, I'm joining the 'tech people' at our school tomarow, I bet I can get most of them to run RC5. They are celeron 500's, and there are probibly about 200 of em. So in time, I can probibly 100GHz on 24/7 for you folks!
if you still have seti in your heart, crack for the seti/rc5 team, SETI Cavalry! that's composed of a bunch of guys who felt that it was a good thing to crack for rc5 now, and once rc5 was completed, the members of rc5 would repay them by running seti. it's up to you of course...i'd prefer it if you gave seti another go at it since i'm a seti member and not an rc5 member. best of uck either way though, as any contribution will be oing toward TeAm Anandtech!
DRGrim: I replied to your other thread here. I run the command line version of SETI on a bunch of machines at work and the only way to detect it is by a ctrl-alt-del.
