i have a geforce4 ti4600 installed and running on my computer now.. but i will switch it with a radeon 9500 pro. i'm wondering what the best way to do this is. i read somewhere that u gotta uninstall all the geforce drivers first, or something..

thanks,
kevin

I switches from a GF2 MX400 to a R9000Pro alooong time ago and i remember all i did was uninstall the drivers the normal way from the GF, and then install the ATI.

I had no problems some people might tell you otherwise and suggest a driver cleaner. It's a pain if you ask me. The system i'm talkin about has ben running XP for 1 n a half years without a reformat.

I do recall there being utilities designed specificly to remove det drivers. Do a google search for removing det drivers or something. Im sure something will come up.
