Hear is my dilemma: I'm a cheap bastard and do not want to upgrade to a new GPU with HDMI out.

My current GPU is a Gigabyte 8800GT, which is more than sufficient for the games I play. The only problem is, I want to use my onboard GPU (Asus M4A785TD-V EVO, with HD 4200) with HDMI out to connect to my TV for streaming, etc. Ideally, I would like to be able to switch between the two in windows without having to yank the card, or put it back in.

Please and thank you :)

Think you need an ATi card to use the crossfire setup...though not sure if that will allow output from both chipsets...
what o/s are you using?

No solution yet to be able to switch off the discrete card at will for desktops.

However, if you have both sets of drivers installed...I suppose you will be able to switch to a TV output from the ATI Catalyst Control Panel. Give it a shot.
