Switching between monitors depending on use... Possible?

Reference my HTPC in sig below... running GTX950 GPU.

My wife has started an in-home business and needs her own computer. Because of space (and money) limitations I came up with the clever idea to just use the i3-powered HTPC already in place. Currently it just feeds a TV via HDMI cable, but my thought was to just add 2 monitors via display port. Big question is this... How hard would it be to switch between the twin desk monitors and the TV... and back again, based on how we were using the PC at the moment? I've never done anything like that...

You use windows display settings to extend the desktop to all three displays make one of the monitor s your main display and then use alt+shift+ cursor left or right to send open programs to the other displays. (or just drag&drop)
Most video players you can configure to open on a predetermined display so that you won't have to worry about them popping up on your wife.

I think I see what you are saying... I can turn off monitor #1 and only use, for example, #2 and #3, or vice versa. It is unlikely we will use all 3 together at the same time, but now that I think about it, she might.

I use 2 monitors on my main PC, but I have never had to disable one... the desktop is just extended across both.

Cool... thank you!
