Switching back to Linux after a year or so..

Basically, is it necessary to DL all 4 images? The first, obviously.. don't know if I'm even going to get the second because I don't think I'll be using KDE/GNOME, but would it be valuable to have the 2 source cds?

You'll probably want atleast the kernel sources if you plan on installing things like the nVidia driver, VMWare, shfs, hostap, etc, but I would think that most Slack users would grab a kernel from kernel.org and go to town from there so it might be a moot point.
