I recently replaced my MSI K7N2 Delta2 Platinum with an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard. I "think" I've made the required changed in the BIOS settings, but the PC still won't boot to the Windows XP Professional desktop.
Here is a list of my system specs:
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard - factory BIOS
AMD Athlon XP 2700
Seagate 80GB HD / WD 40GB HD
ATI Radeon X800 Pro
Lite-On DVD -/+ RW
Lite-On DVD-ROM
1GB Kingston Memory Kit (2-512MB DDR333 modules)
ThermalTake Volcano 11 CPU Heatsink
MGE 500W Power Supply
I've been making motherboard jumper changes to try and get it stable but the one time that it did hit the desktop, it flashes right back to BIOS boot-up sequence and just continues to reboot itself automatically.
I'm going through HL2 withdrawal right now, so any help that I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys,
Sting
