Did you get the email from SVC? The slk-900 is on sale for $39. You need the coupon code. PM me if you want it. I think its better than the Swiftech. But I'd get the slk-800 for $28.95 with coupon code.

Are you out of your mind or rich? The 4000 is slightly better IMO, but it surely isn't so bad that you would get the SLK-900. Can I ask what you were thinking?

The SLK-900U is TOO BIG!

I had to MANGLE mine just to get it to fit my A7N8X Deluxe board. The fins(3 of them) hit the transistors and keep it from seating on the CPU... I had to twist and bend 3 fins all to hell!

I have ugly pics of it, but no way to post them on the net.

Just beware of the 900.

Why the hell would you get a 900U and put an 80mm fan on it??? Just put a 92 on it man!!!

Not to be rude, but on Thermalright's own site they say "EXTREME" bending of capacitors is required to get the 900U to fit on an A7N8X-Deluxe, they rate boards by either no bending requiring, or *, ** and *** (Extreme) required, could've saved you a bit o' trouble

I'm using the Swiftech MCX4000 w/Delta FFB0812SHE fan (68.5CFM). Keeps my P4C 2.8GHz nice and cool on a board known for high temps, Abit IC7-G. Even under FULL load highest recorded temp is 58c.

One more vote for the MCX4000. Also ships with a kit now to install a 92mm fan.
