Has anyone tried mounting the H220 on the top 2x120mm radiator mounting point of the carbide 500R?

I've heard/read that the orientation of the reservoir that is attached to the radiator, and the placement of the MoBo in the 500R, requires that the rad be mounted underneath the mounting holes, and the fans to be mounted on top of the mounting holes. So that if you're using the rad as an intake, the fans are 'pushing' and if the rad is an exhaust, the fans are 'pulling'.

Does that sounds more-or-less correct?

I remember on my clients' 600r that we had to cut a plastic bracket out of the way, but overall it was really simple and fit together much easier than it looked after we removed the offending piece of plastic. Both cases are designed for 120mm fans so I can't see any issues occurring.

Oh wow, that picture makes it look like it fits perfectly underneath the top mesh.

I was mostly worried about cleaning, I was hoping to have the fans under the rad so I'd jsut have to blow off the rad every now and then, but if it all fits under the top mesh, I actually have a dust filter that will keep it pretty clean regardless of the fan position. Cool!
