And we need to have our house fumigated. :rolleyes:

On the plus side, the patio cover I built 10 years ago is termite free...maybe I should have built the entire house.

What is it about termites out here? Last time I saw a tented house was when I left SoCal in the 80s, and the first time I saw it again was when I moved back. So common here.

I've never heard of someone having termites within 100 miles of here. Must be our climate is bad for termites to even exist.

It appears Termites don't do well in the cold. And coastal CA is especially heavy in two types of termites. Three types in coastal SoCal.

d) The Formosan Subterranean Termite: Native to China, this is the most destructive termite species in the U.S. The Formosan termite is found occasionally in most Southeastern states and southern California, and is the only species of subterranean termite found in Hawaii.

Fuckin China.

When I lived in Poway there were always termite tents being erected. Another shitty aspect of that shitty city.
