Sweetness: Trillian 3 out now

its gotten too much like ICQ where they bloated it with crap when all anybody ever wanted was something simple.
 
i like the new way the contact list has the away messages. i wish it had the idle times too (w/ the away message up). still wish they had a rich text editor for putting up away messages.
 
wooooohoooooo......so many fixes. I am so glad to see they finally fixed the Direct Connection feature for the AIM portion.
 
too bad they are gonna make me pay for pro again after ive had Trillian Pro and Trillian 2 Pro for years

The only thing that I am ticked about is my subscription ran out and I thought it was a lifetime subscription.

yea same here i dont wanna shell out another 25$, funn tho my sub is well over a year old i can still download 2 pro with no issues and such
 
assuming they fixed the file transfer ... does the other person have to have version 3 also ?

Another question - what's the build # on this "final" release ?
 
The only difference I see so far (on their site) is that the PRO version will support Video Chat. Call me crazy, but I don't believe I give a rat's ass about video chat 🙂

That being said, would like to know if I should uninstall my pro version of 2 and just go with 3 basic. Any thoughts?
 
For those that use triliian, im assuming you guys have friends other services? I thought about using trillian but i realized all of my friends are on AIM.
