It's a legit place - they only sell one thing at a time, and for a limited time however.

Woot is very legit. If you don't want to take my word for it, search the hot deals forum for woot and you will get all the proof you need.

Woot is a very shady place. Please stay away from their deals. You don't want to shop there as they'll screw you. Only I should shop there...

Hope you guys realize this is the OLD backlit version, not the new one with the backlit letters that Woot had back a few months ago for $50.

I don't understand why it only has USB I know everything is USB these days but why waste your USB ports on a keyboard or mouse when they have their own ps2 ports that nothing else uses I dont understand.

Cause you've got 8 USB ports and only 7 ipods.

I believe it ships with a USB to PS/2 adapter so you can use the PS/2 port instead of the USB port if you like. If you are limited on USB ports, then buy a USB hub. You can literally have over 100 USB ports if you daisy-chain enough USB hubs so it's not likely that you will be USB port limited if you care to invest in a USB hub or two (hundred).

Does a PS/2 port provide enough power for a backlit keyboard? That might be why it's USB native. I don't know.

That would be a kickass keyboard if it were cordless!

Because those ports are useless if everything can be USB. Motherboards = cheaper if they don't have to have special connector ports for old/inferior hardware.
