Sweet, the band Eve 6 got it's name from The X-Files.

I was watching the x-files episode 1x11 named Eve. It was about a bunch of clones named Eve. One of the clones was named Eve 6 and I wondered if the band got it's name from the episode. A little googling revealed that sure enough they did.

Tony Fagenson, who auditioned while attending the University of Southern California, was an X-Files fan. After seeing the episode "Eve", which featured genetically engineered characters known as "Eves," he got the name from the character called Eve #6 who made a remark about biting a guard's eyeball, which Fagenson thought merited "Eve 6" as a band name.

EVE 6: No. Bad reason. I paid too much attention to a guard. Bit into his eyeball. (She giggles and makes gnashing sounds.) I meant it as a sign of affection. (She laughs.) Are you going to give me an IQ test by any chance? I think I can top 265. We're very bright, we Eves. It runs in the family.
