So yeah I was a dumbass and broke my T-Mobile sim card. I ordered an unregistered sim card on ebay for $3.01 shipped. Just had it activated! I asked the rep and it would have costed $20 for a replacement sim.

will any old sim card work? Does it have to be a Tmo branded card?

yes it was 0.01 bid + $3shipping. The guy had a lot of sim cards.

No it has to be unused, unactivated. I called T-Mobile Customer Care and I had to tell them the number on the card.

This can be activated for prepaid if you ever need it also. But it would be better to spend $1-2 to buy a $10starter sim card with 30minutes.

Yeah, I should have bought more cards in case something happens. But I know I'll lose them:p

Hmm, I just threw away a TMobile Sim card..... Is there anyway to trace where they came from?

Some reps don't charge you for sim cards. I work at T-mobile and NEVER charge my customers for that shit.

not really. I know that reps can send you sim cards or they will send you to the store and have it deducted or something.

well I broke it and I didn't feel like being an ass by making up an excuse, like my service sucks and get a replacement sim.

btw its either the network or my newer simcard can detect towers faster, because my internet is hella faster
