I'm in Korea studying abroad. When I came in August, I weighed around 310lbs, down slightly from my heaviest of 316. Korean food is okay I guess, but what they try to pass off in the cafeteria here just isn't edible. I sold my meal plan to somebody else and have been using the opportunity of being surrounded by unappetizing food to lose weight by eating less. I've been eating very little, I've been shooting for just enough to get enough vitamins, etc, cause I've heard that not eating anything is super bad for you. I'm living in a dorm, and I don't have access to a scale regularly. I just walked into my friend's room and saw that his roommate has a scale, so I weighed myself. I had to check again after I converted from kg to pounds, I almost didn't believe it. I was 130.5 kg, which is about 287 pounds. I thought I might be under 300, but I didn't think I'd have lost that much! Definitely a good start to getting down to a healthy weight. After far too long of telling myself that I'd lose weight sometime 'soon', I'm finally getting there.

I'm 6'2, have a very large frame (finger/thumb around wrist test leaves 5/8" gap).
