Hilarious. Reminds me of when we used to blast classical music in high school around all the rap-lovers just to piss em off.

I've heard Lynyrd Skynyrd do the song live, and I've heard Neil Young live.
Sorry, Neil Young is 100 times the musician and performer than Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Even if he is Canadian.

Did you see them perform pre 1977 or post 1991?

Post 1991. Sorry, someone already posted it, the Allman Brothers are the best Southern rock band ...ever. I saw them in the '70's without Duane and they were still good.
A way more offensive southern rock band....Kid Rock.
Had a huge Confederate flag projected on screen and also had some offensive comments.

If you did not see them before 1977 then your comments are meaningless.

Kid Rock is not a band, he's a Yankee from Detroit. 😀

Little Feat

The Allman's had Duane's genius on guitar, but not much else. It was enough to make them great but they couldn't stand up next to Lowell George's wit and lyricism.

Amen to the Allmans. SHit, you know have Duane's nephew/cousin/whatever Dereck Trucks running around kicking ass. I saw him shredding with the Allmans, and then Phish at the same show, c. 1997.

I'm also partial to Marshall Tucker.

Little Feat
