SWEET! Filet-O-Fish

No Lifer
I just saw the best commercial ever ! McDonalds announces the Filet-O-Fish will now be 99 cents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone at my local McDs will know me by name now... oh boy oh boy oh boy.

or go for the 2 big macs for $2.22.. 😛 havent gone yet for that. been ages since i had one of those (last time is when they had the original 2 for $2 and that was a looooooong time ago).

the BK big fish aint bad.. it's huge but is it just me, after eating a few, i get this sick feeling..

<< Fish?

From McDonalds?

WTF? That's like getting pate at a ghetto mexican resturant!
>>

The fish filet is actually worse for your health than any of the other burgers they offer. Kinda sickening, if you think about it.

The only thing I can stomach from McDs is the Quarter Pounder with cheese and I only tolerate that because it's so dry you can eat it while driving and not worry about dripping anything on yourself.

BTW, Big Macs taste like they were marinated in urine.

yeah, i'm sorry, but that's just bad, filet o' fish at mcdonalds is'nt a good thing no matter what the price

Geez... sounds like you guys are all in the I-worry-too-much-about-my-diet-and-health age.. somewhere above 20. 🙂 I'm 24 and weigh 148lbs. I say bring on the tartar sauce.

Oh and about getting overly excited about it... cow sh!t ain't all that... despite what you've heard.

ugh where did you get this info from? fish is better for you then beef😛 good cholesterol instead of the bad, not to mention you can actually see that the meat is unaltered. flakes of flesh instead of the minced with who knows what filler thrown in beef.

and yea, the bk bigfish gets kinda nasty. the filet o fish is rather nice though🙂

and the 2 dollar cups ain't a bad deal either, very practical🙂

on fridays, i sometimes get the bk bigfish sandwich for .99 .. always ask for extra tartar sauce.. hmm.. maybe that's why i feel sick after the 1st one.. huh?

i can eat the monday $.99 chicken sandwiches to my hearts content and wont feel sick.. so maybe their is a good argument about fish sandwich being worse than the rest of the menu...

Because the FoF is deep fried in lard. It has more fat than a QP.

I'm proposing to eat out at McDonald's everyday. With their $1.00 on McChicken, Filet-O-Fish and some other stuff, it's just as cheap as school lunch and tastes 100times better.

School lunch: soggy, edibility questionable worst crap you can get for $2.25.(Soggy sandwich/ravioli/spagghetti/hot dog/burritio/etc + rock hard tator tots + milk+optional soggy salad bar)

Cafeteria b!tch flips when I say "this sh!t is intended for human consumption? I thought those were pig food".

Subway, Tacobell, Jack In Box, Arby's and McDonald's all rules in that order.

Ahh it's good to see that things haven't changed in the last few years.
