haha u'll get used to it. from what i've seen so far, they pretty much aren't different from the 1.5 realism patch designs. guess i'm used to it.

Well, my favorite weapon is in the T menu. I don't even know what it's called. Buy>4>6 (not the awp, the last rifle available). It looks and sounds totally different. I picked one up off the ground and was like "WTF is this!?" and went charging on in a room with four CTs, each with MP5s. Oops.
The G3/SG-1... Auto-sniper whorage.

I simply kick fvcking ass with that and the Deagle. :D

My only complaint is that some of the weapons are too-far-off of what they looked like before the mod pack -so picking one up off the ground isn't exactly going to give me what tactics I should use with it. Some of the skins for the players make it hard to tell who-is-who at longer distances, too. :(

Fusionpack is public now I believe. I got mine for free anyways. They stopped working on them a month or so ago. *shrugs* I can't remember

Yeah, the first time I played I was like, wtf? I didn't know what any of the upgrades meant, and I had to go looking for them. I think the coolest was the extra jump for Scourge, and invisibility for humans.

running the csru config file might do the same thing, i didn't check. seems you can turn on/off this pack

it looks sweet:) gah, have to play it once on steam before it'll install though. thats if u have a total fresh install of both halflife/steam though. else no cstrike directory heh. so i got to see a before and after...amazing difference:)

No it doesn't do the same thing actually. I had to manually set it. Looks much better now :)

I still kinda prefer the original weapon models and sounds though.

CAL really doesn't care that much about custom models in online play.
It is LAN tournys that really matter.

I have played in cal-m/i.

I was cal im/m and when some n00b cal M clan complained about a match, the admins disqualified us because of my "illegal" models...

I am the former creator and leader of BiO (the cal-i team) and Panda (www.teampanda.net).

Based on my experience, people don't really care about custom mod. Before 1.6, I was playing with a mod crosshair for the zoomed sig. Even at some major LANs, the cal admins that were there didn't care after seeing it. It could just be that I am friends with most of them.

This mod installs a cool little proggy in your start menu that has three buttons. You can enable/disable the entire mod or pieces of it. Install it. When your clan doesn't allow it, disable everything before running Steam. :)

Isn't the default directory "program files/steam/steamapps/youremail@yourhost/counter-strike/cstrike"???

yea it should be that. did u just install the steam/cs full install without running it once on steam? cuz before i ran cs 1.6 once online and log onto steam, i didn't have a /steamapps/youremail@blabhab.com directory at all.

Am I missing something? They look like any other skins I've seen... nothing spectacular....

Oh, that and the game has completely outdated graphics anyhow.

did you install it right? its a skin/model pack. run the csru exe file and make sure everything is enabled..., that or check the config file too.

the levels look the same of course. but having player models/guns that are near what far newer games is pretty kewl:)

it pounds cards much harder then normal cs, the models are poly heavy. but 9700? i guess its possible if u have insane AA and aniscopy on at 1600x1200 or whatever... i dunno. i run 1024x768 @ 16bit on a lousy 9000pro smooth, probaby couldn't do any aa, cuz well, 9000pro is a pos. but yea, 16bit:p but i guess some have different idea of smooth.
