Yeah...and the pulsing is...ummm...interesting. I almost feel like a Borg. 😉
LOL yeah, certainly can't use it for stealth ops!

Just remembered, nice that it shuts off when you close the boom. My Voyager has a super tiny on/off nub and it's hard to tell if it's on or off.

you wander round with that on your ear all day?
I wear mine for long periods of time throughout the day. Seamlessly doubles as my office and mobile headset. Very comfortable; don't even think of it being there after a while. Can talk in normal and low voice and comms are very clear.

Hmm, might be just a little bulky for mobile phone use 😉. Looks cool though.

I bought two of these for the most un-technologically oriented people I have ever met, to use with their Razr's, and they love the 510. from me.

I bought the HS-850 and was completely turned off to BT headsets. The damn thing just felt like it was dangling from my ear. If I had to turn my head fast (like changing lanes) it would pull away from my face and the I would no longer be able to hear the other person.

I am going to give this one a try. I looks promising and more secure.

BTW, it looks like Amazon has two different offerings of the 510

Through Amazon for $52.24

Through an Amazon merchant for $63.80

I didn't have a problem with the fit of the 850, but the new plantronics 'over the ear' unit is comfortable and solidly stays in place. Have deliberately tried to shake it off and no go.

Where do you plug the a/c adapter into to recharge it?

It's on the backside of the answer button. So its on the side that faces your skin when you wear it.

I want to get those for music listening purposes with my computer and PDA at some point... (the fact that they can also be used as a phone headset is cool, but I'm not sure that I'd want to carry or wear a full set of headphones when I'm just going to be on the phone)

They're also about $50 cheaper here.

That would actually be really cool in conjunction with a BT PDA like the Dell Axim x50v or 51.

how does the setup work with your computer? Do you have some bluetooth broadcasting thing that plugs into your sound card?

If your laptop/desktop doesn't have built-in Bluetooth you can use a USB or PCI or PCMCIA Bluetooth card.
