i live about 45 mins away from geordie land (newcastle upon tyne) and some places up there are rough as ******....but they are no worse than what goes on in middlesbrough where i live

its generally nicer as you venture further south, but pretty much every major UK town/city has got severly rough areas, you just have to know where they are to avoid them

where i live, i live in a nice neighbourgh hood and its full of nice houses and old people. its pleasant and theres rarely any trouble.

no word of a lie 5 minutes down the road is the easterside/bell vue area that is full of crack houses, little kids who dont give two shits about anything...smoking drinking having sex as young as 11, they'll attack the police, they'll attack you...they dont care.

thats how most of middlesbrough is....little pockets of nice and then not so nice

yep. she said the blondes are racist (if you can call it that) against non-blondes and the non-blondes are racist toward the non-whites. This was also backed up by a pakistani friend of mine who's currently living in London. He took a weekend trip to somewhere in Sweden and he said the women are the best he's ever seen in his life but he didnt get a single look (usually he has no problems picking up women in London or NYC)
