LoL! It's like the first time Sweden is able to own Canadians. Be happy while it lasts because Sweden is suck and you'll never see them "own" Canadians or any other hockey team EVER!

Canadain Hockey RULES! Canada has one of , if not the BEST Minor and Jr hockey programs in the world! Plain and simple Canada IS HOCKEY! Yes...................................I did watch the game tonight and will say I was might dissapointed and the play of Team Canada!
 
watching that game made me feel sick so i turned it back to curling.


i swear to god a buncha old ladies could have beaten team canada tonight.

Actually the Swedish bikini team is an american invention, so it's possibly the best you guys ever did 🙂 Never heard of in Sweden but seen time and time again in American flicks and we love you guys for that invention 🙂
 
It was only the second period that was bad... The rest of the time they played okay I guess. Especially at the end of the third.

Besides, Canada has won about 49% of all gold medals in international tournaments, and 49% of the silver too... 49/49 for the Russians/USSR in gold/silver as well, and the other 2/2 is "miscellaneous" 🙂

Canada had a bad second period but IMHO were better than the Swedes in the 1st and 3rd. They hit the iron a couple of times, and just had bad luck on other occasions and had a goal taken back so the game ended 5-2. Sure Sweden deserved to win that one, but 5-2? I think they got more than they deserved, nevertheless Team Canada will be back and WILL bring back the gold.

yup, Canada is the best hockey nation of all times, which makes beating you guys even sweeter 🙂 But facts are you haven't won the olympic tournament for fifty years. In my opinion team canada relies to much on old guys like Lemieux and Yzerman who are past their best. I mean Yzerman was at his best in 88/89 season with an unbelievable 150 points or so. I was kinda surprised at how the games was so low intense with not much checking at all going on. That's what you expect when facing team canada, being really smacked around.
 
icecoolCanada had the upper hand for the first ten minutes of the first period and maybe for the first five of the third. They had a goal taken back because they had one guy standing inside the goal zone or whatever it's called and that's forbidden so it's nothing to whine about.
