CPU-1 was at 107F loaded, while CPU2 was getting up to 122F loaded. I swapped out the two 120mm exhaust fans with Sanyo Denki's ( installed here ), and the temps are now 104F and 107F. And that is with the side panels off! That's awesome.

I'm a believer in SD fans now for sure.

Here are the rest of the pics.

I've been thinking about swapping out the upper CPU fan for a 92x25mm fan, as I thought it wasn't getting enough air. Apparently I just needed to get more air out of there...

Kewl.....Better said, cooler :)

I see you hard mounted those Sanyo Denki fans. How smooth do they run?
Are they vibration free?

Dude, 122ºF is like a typical summer day back where I used to live.

As for the other fans intermittently dying, I've noticed that some fans will stop spinning if in near proximity to another fan, I think from the interaction of the magnets or something.

Yea, the wife was amazed. :D At 5V, you can't hear them. And at 12V, you can hear them, but the sounds is wonderful. You can hear them, but it isn't bad. Perfect for this machine. I did notice at 5V there was just a bit of a small knocking noise, but you had to be listening with your ear to the fan.

With regards to vibration, I happened to have these little blue things, and they work rather well ( :p Thanks GY ).

I still have the side panels off, and the computer is a lot quieter than before. THe loudest fans are now the video cooler, and the fans on both of the SATA enclosures...

Nice results. I love those Sanyo Denki's. I have three in my case at the moment and they are the best I've used.
