Has anyone used it? I've been trying to play imported games on my PS2. I have a fat PS2 and I'm too lazy to get it modded. But, I'm afraid of breaking my Ps2, even though its fairly easy.
 
How is a swap disc going to break your PS2?

Or are you installing a hard drive? Kaido has done it, try PMing him.
 
The plastic thing to forcibly remove your disk tray can break your PS2, I've heard of people who has done it.

My Ps2 already has a HDD so no, Im not installing a HDD
 
Well, HDLoader is illegal so I can't use that. And it needs a Slide Card anyway, unless I take my HDD out and format it, which is a huge pain.
 
I am a chicken when it comes to mods so I did the flip top (top loader) mod to use swap magic. It worked great and was pretty easy to do. I then did it for a buddy too on a slightly different revision of the fat ps2. Both were easy...

Is it more illegal than swap magic or a modchip? I've never heard the thing about needed a slide card for it. You should just pop in the disc and boot the PS2.
 
You can buy a flip top case for your fat PS2. That way, when it tells you to swap the discs, you can just open up the flip top (on the top) and swap the discs.

We have swap magic/flip top on our slim PS2.

You should be able to find plenty of info online.

It works wonderfully!
