swap file size on winxp?

hi,

i installed win xp pro on my laptop with 512mb RAM, the default swap file is 768mb on root c:

is this ok? or too big? should i miss around with it? so far everything is running fine and quite fast, and even with awhole bunch of programs loaded including photoshop, task manager still tells me i have 300mb+ of free physical memory.

by the way, i tweaked the services loaded, and on bootup win xp is only using about 55mb physical thats with visual styles on, if you revert to the w2k style interface you can further reduce win xp footprint.

Same as mine...768mb. I think that will auto-adjust if needed...XP seems to use about 120mb of my 512 to 'run' 😛
