Why the hell are these so popular? I see them all over Houston usually on ghetto'd out Cadillac, Oldsmobiles, or something even as stupid as Cheapo Aveos or Toyotas/Dodge Neons.

They are ugly as hell, tacky as hell, and I would NOT want to be hit in the shins by them if they drove by too close 😵.

Oh you mean Daytons. Dayton Wire Wheels is the company that makes them. They are pretty popular in Houston and have been for at least 20 years. I don't see them too much anymore though, but I haven't lived in Houston in almost like 6 years. Looks better than donks though.

Daytons? Donks? Dubz? Derps? Man these names are terrible, I can't help but laugh at them.

Houston has a pretty bad culture all around, thanks to how spread out everything is people pass through areas just to get to another.

Ricers, Rattleboxes (Bass to the MAX aka kill the battery/alternator), and too many SUVs/Trucks. We have em all!!!

Need more Muscle/Sportscars though...I won't complain about that 🙂

You should move to the Plano/Dallas area. My mom works at a restaurant and she gets Ferraris, Lambos..... man I don't even know. She posts pictures on FB all the time with the tag "Car of the day". I'll look up some of them and post them here.

Lol I'm actually going up to Dallas for work sometime in June. I'll see if I notice anything different besides their crazy drivers 😀.

Forgot I took this picture a few months ago outside of my office window. Hydraulics + HugeTurd as a hood ornament = Ghetto extreme! A few of them also had the same rims.
