Should be fine from newegg just note what your missing with OEM by the pictures they provide. I don't think you will get the speaker covers, wires, connectors, manual etc.

I've heard newegg is usually pretty good about including at least some of the accessories.

I'd assume at least the grilles and power cable would be included, and hopefully the speakers wire and interconnects as well.

I don't even know if calling newegg would help as I don't know if they keep track of such things.

In for 1. Once I get them I'll post on condition and what was included. This is really awesome since the lowest I've EVER seen them is 135 shipped and that was used.

One more thing I just thought of. I bought an open box motherboard from the egg just a couple of months ago and it was totally complete. YMMV.

Dang.. the last time I looked at these speakers, I ended up blowing $1k+ for a home theater system after researching other options

How do the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s compare? I just upgraded to a SoundBlaster X-fi Music, so an improvement in sound is always a priority.

No comparison.. Swans beat them hands down! Klipsch speakers sound like they were designed to catch your attention at the store, with emphasis on the bass and high end, whereas Swans are more audiophile quality. That's my opinion, of course, but I think you'll find others will tell you the same thing.

Got my open box pair today and couldn't be happier!!! Everything that should be there was in the box and the speakers are in great shape. They sound AWESOME! Couldn't give a higher recommendation.

I hear ya. They didn't last long at all, 10 hours on this forum. I need another pair of computer speakers like I need another hole in my head.....But I would have bought these.
