SW2 and SW3 on BXmaster. What to do about them?

Everyone is always talking about how it's a must to remove those two jumpers on the BXmaster. My question is: why? What do they do? The manual is kinda foggy, so if anyone has a good explanation I'd like to hear it.

Here is what they really do. On, they are for running cpus at default speeds and mostly for non overclocking. SW2 on, with SW3 off is for running at 133MHz and oposite of that is for 100MHz. I fail to see the logic in any of it, as removing them both has without fail brought me the best overclocking results, with the full range of bus speeds. Occasionally, though, I'll get a C2 566 that will not even post at 850, but putting the sw3 jumper only back on, makes it post and boot windows. The only problem with that scenario, is if I put another higher quality cpu in and go higher than 100MHz fsb, then the bios screen scambles, where you cant see or execute anything. Then it can only be fixed by clearing the CMOS. It's very strange. Is there a particular problem you're having, or did you just get curious?

Well, I've been experimenting a bit with my 700E. To me it seems very stable at 124 Mhz FSB with both of them on. This is very strange.
