MuCullough HID Kit
13 inch Baer Brakes
Ground Control/Koni Struts

Momo Air Race Shift Knob
Elky Mesh Grilles
Full Audio System (Dynamatted Trunk, Pioneer Deh-6000/DEQ-9200, RockFord 1000x4 amp

Also, he had some engine problems and Ford is rebuilding his engine as I type this.

He is asking $15K

Should I go for it?

i dont trust fords.. engine rebuilds never seem to fix the problem.. it will come back later. at least in my families ford / mercury owning history.

$15k for a 4 year old Ford with engine troubles?? I doubt it...even with the mods.

A pristine SVT Contour with every option and 40,000 miles is going for $13,670 according to KBB

Hehe domestic rice, no one does it like Uncle Ben's.

I prefer Rice-a-Roni...the San Fransico Treat :D

Taste wise I think Benihana has Uncle Ben's beat.

i'm not a big rice fan. i like noodles and pasta better.

If they're the right kind of noodles/pasta then yeah I prefer that over rice.

This thread has officially been (unintentionally ;) ) hijacked.

Same here. We had a 96' Mustang with an engine rebuilt. POS car was never the same and still broke down all the time...

It has 64000 miles on it

I can get it for $12 with all the mods removed except the exhaust, stereo and suspension.

It is at a ford dealer now - I am going to call them tomorrow and see about their warranty programs. If I can get an extended warranty I will be very happy

more pics added...

64,000 miles on a 3 year old car? Damn.

I hope the car's in tip top shape, I'd get the mods removed, try and low ball them down another $1k or so and get them to toss in a free extended warranty for your "peace of mind".

If you go to Kelley Blue Book, what price does it list (de-riced of course)?

I would be affraid engine problems on a car like this would mean the owner drive it like he stole all the freaken time. I would worry about the trans and other parts too.

That and its slightly ricy :p

thats not that bad.. about 20k a year.. i average about 22,000 miles per year.

So far I've averaged 500 miles/month only 6,000 miles a year.

But eventually we'll probably drive to Yellowstone, down to San Francisco/LA, up to Canada/Alaska so that'll rack up miles quickly.

LOL, just poking at ya;)

My 'yota is doing just fine. Coming up on 113,000 miles and still getting 450 - 475 miles on a tank. I had it loaded down with all of my college stuff yesterday. Fit everything in one trip although the rear end of the car was HEAVILY weighted down. I scraped the exhaust tip pulling out of the driveway at home :D

Kelly Blue Book Private Party Price: $11,390

Edmunds Private Party Price: $11,241

I haven't negotiated price yet, so we will see where that goes. He seems desperate to sell, so I will hammer him for it (was a buyer in my old job).

I am going back and forth between stock and modded. Those wheels are REALLY nice.

I didn't want to bother. I have a parking permit on campus that is registered for both the Camry and the Highlander so I could have used it, but everything I had could fit into the Camry without blocking my vision in any way. We have micro-fridges on campus now so I didn't need my fridge or microwave...otherwise I would have taken the Highlander.

thats pretty cool.. when i move back in to school next week, i'll probably fill up my car and my parents Minivan.. even then, it might take another trip. i've got to much big stuff. (most of it is computer/tv/stereo/home theater equipmetn) and we've got an entire house we have to furnish this year. its going to be long day moving in.
