SVS Subwoofer - this is a good deal

I recently purchased a SVS subwoofer and I can not believe the bass it has. The sub shakes the couch. The reason I am posting here is because it is such a good deal for the money. Any other comparable sub is 2x to 3x the money. I looked at many of them. Here is the link for the site:

I do not mean to sound like an advertisement. I do not work for SVS. I just think this is a great deal. They are a small company and I figured a lot of people do not know about them. My wife says I am going to break something when I turn it up.

Sure!

The CS 20-39 sells for $449 but you need an amp. So you would have to buy one or use one you already have. The 20-39pci sells for $649 and has a built in amp. It is a new model and I have not heard anything about it yet. I think some of the reviews below will give you some idea about how good the price is for what you get.
Here is a link to an article written by Thomas A. Nousaine. He is the guru of audio testing. His results are very repsected in the industry: SVS Review
Also go to Audio Review and do a search for SVS. Look at what all the people have to say.
They have a new line of PCi speakers that have very good prices. I have a pair of 20-39+ subs. Here is a link to a review of their ultra subs. These have a little more bass: HIFI Home Theater
Also you can go to the SVS page and look at the links of the articles that have been written on the speakers. Here is the link: SVS Reviews

I just can not believe the bass for the price that I paid. There is nothing that comes close. I took back my new velodyne ct-10 because it was muddy and not as precise. Besides it did not make the couch shake. I have two but I get over 100 db at 20hz! That is a lot of volume at a low bass. Sorry to sound like an advertisement. I just want more people to know about how good a deal this is in subwoofers. Email SVS and I bet they will return your email very quickly. I found out about them at Home Theater Forum

You can get 15% discount by subcribe to hometheaterspot.com membership. I believe it'll cost $25 for basic membership. You can read all under Group Buy Spot ( linky : - http://www.hometheaterspot.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum&f=60 ) then look under We need SVS Group Buy thread. It is awesome subwoofer for hometheater user. If moderator think this is impropriate message since containing reference to another website, feel free to delete. I just pass another "good" deal. 15% for top-notch mail order Subwoofer is superb value. I believe the offer will end on March 7th.

I have 3 SVS subs - 1 16-46PC upstairs on the regular tv/stereo and 2 16-46CS+ in the basement theatre room. I swear, one day, probably when I am watching The Phantom Menace, the entire house is going to cave in.

Here's another recommendation for the SVS subs. I've got a 16-46CS in my living room, and I can knock out lightbulbs in the bathroom on the other side of the house with it. 🙂

I love mine that is why I posted. I have 2 20-39CS+ subs and a samson s1000 amp. When I turn it up it feels like bugs are crawling on my hair. I would say that is moving some air! There is no other sub I am aware of that will do this for the same amount of money.
