The "non-retarded" version is now $11.99, making it a hotter deal. Also, Chenbro Gaming Bomb (without side window) case for $19.99 - good quality steel case, toolless, 120mm fan, fan filter... awesome.

Why paint aluminum? When it's only 0.8mm thick you paint it for added strength... ;) .

The Chenbro gaming bomb SVC is offering for $20. isn't bad either. It doesn't have a reset switch but it does have a place to mount one (or you can mod one in anywhere you want) - you'll just need to drill a hole in the bezel so you can use it. It will cost substantially more than the aluminum cases to ship. Chenbro doesn't make flimsy cases.

"simplistic aluminum case by Global Win" Don't you just love the way foreigners twist the language... ( for those from Rio Linda, "simplistic" does not apply to inanimate, physical objects - "simple" works just fine.). A few bucks to a competent native English user to proof their commercial language would pay back many times in perception of their sites.

Why would it be none-retarded? Non-retarded would mean "Not retarded" or normal as opposed to your "None-retarded", which I could only guess would possibly mean "Not one retarded" or "No one retarded." That makes absolutely no sense..........your version, that is.

Why the heck can't you ever find microATX cases this cheap? They're smaller, use less metal, ship in smaller boxes... ?

Let me clarify, If you read the entire thread, someone mentioned "I bought 3 of these "none-retarded" cases in the past and pretty pleased with the quality (for the price). " Obviously,"none-retarded" was a typo on their part. I was just carring on the joke.

because you forgot their other diminuative trait, their marketshare and thus their economies of scale.

bupkus,

Rgreen beat me to it. They don't make/sell as many on the aftermarket (they're HUGE in OEM) so the prices will usually be relatively high. But when Silverstone blew out their mini-Berserker mATX case, the price got down pretty good. That was a neat case - better than many that are still out in the channel like the Athenatech A-100 series. I bet it's still available OEM for anyone that's up for marketing it.
