order 5 or more to save on ground shipping.
I haven't tried it yet but I think it's a great deal. 29dba maybe not too bad.

GC-88 at SVC LINK

I have two GC-88's. $2 is a great price, but these are cheaply made coolers, and the regular $14.95 price was a rip-off. GC-119 for under $5 is my favorite cheapie cooler (and these still need lapping before use).

GC-88 copper & GC68 aluminum testing I did last year:

GC88 Prime 27c/53c case/cpu.
GC68/GC118 Prime95v21 28/52c.
Very similar performance with tests on 1600XP Palomino 1.75 Vcore 1674Mhz.

Stamped copper base came with a hard clear coating.
HS needed extensive lapping to get it flat and smooth.
3500 rpm 29db fan actually runs at 4000 rpm. Noise not bad but still more than the claimed 1dB above GC68 levels. One sample was so unbalanced and loud it made the entire case vibrate.
Spring clip is much weaker than GC68, but seems to do the job. Easy to place off-center and HS can be slid about.
GC88 blows sideways toward dimms and GC68 blows up and down toward pci slots and psu.

Good for the price, but not able to dump extreme amounts of heat. My GC88 was $11.50 delivered a year ago from a pricewatch vendor.
