Orman says they'd like to get married, and both "have millions of dollars in our name. It's killing me that upon my death, K.T. is going to lose 50 percent of everything I have to estate taxes. Or vice versa."

Pressed again, she says that estimates that she is worth $25 million are "pretty close."

I stopped watching her when I could no longer put up with her vanity. Does everything she do have to have 6 pictures of her face and her name written out at least 12 times?

she is one of those older homosexuals who came of age before the sexual identity revolution. hence she apparently doesn't call herself a lesbian. but younger people would not think of her as a 55 year old virgin, but as a lesbian women in a 7 year relationship.

If you go back to the criminal code here, rape is penetration of that other person's orifices (including any object used to penetrate), so that's where i'd draw the line 😉

I just didn't think she said anything revolutionary. She says nothing you can't get from a simple book and a few hours of reflection.

A person who understands finances could, yes - but so many people don't care enough to educate themselves about finances. It really amazes me how stupid some people are when it comes to finances. I heard one lady call into the Suze Orman show, she'd get a $250 paycheck advance from one of those shady loan places every time she'd get a paycheck. She'd use her paycheck to pay off the previous loan, then she'd need another loan to get her through that pay period. She got depressed because she didn't have any money, so went out and bought clothes with the $250. For each loan she paid of fee of $50 + a high interest rate. If she just didn't do that one pay period, she'd have broken out of the cycle and she'd have been able to SAVE money. Oh yeah, she was driving around in a $50k SUV which she obviously couldn't afford. To most of us her problems would be obvious, but some people need Suze to tell them what to do. 🙁

I'm surprised by the people who have a lot of money who call in to her show and seem to have no idea how to handle money.
