Suspicious Beep

Hey all I just recently got this problem with one of my office computers. Whenever I turn the computer on, it just makes a really long beep and it doesn't stop. The computer doesn't boot but it just powers on and makes that long noise. I have already switched out power supplies, CPU, and video card that I know are working. Anyone know what this long beep is indicating?

IBM: Continuous Beep No Power, Loose Card, or Short.

Compaq: 1 long neverending beep
Memory error. Bad RAM. Replace and test

Guess it depends on the mobo...

Find the maker of the BIOS (AMI, Award, etc.) and google "beep codes" with that manufacturer's name in the search.

Most likely it's a memory error. Did you try different memory?

yeah tried different memory, CPU, video, and powersupply. It's most likely the motherboard but should the motherboard still be able to give beep codes like that?
