Side note: Maki Sushi in Austin is awesome. Build your own sushi, I got 20 pieces for $9.50. And it's really fast...YUM!

Had it for tonight. The sushi rolled by on a conveyor belt, but man it was sneaky, you had to move quick! $10.50 for unknown amounts, to the filling side, but large variety.

I have heard of those places but never been to one.

I've never had the nerve to try sushi.

It's the food of the gods - packaged in little rolls.

So true.

I seriously hope you aren't referring to california rolls (or anything along those lines)....

If you are, you haven't tried the real stuff. Nigiri is the real sushi, although Sashimi is also acceptable.

Offer me sushi and I'll kindly but stauchly refuse it. Burp in my direction with sushi breath and I'll punch you square in the nose.

Food of the Gods my ass. My God likes his food dead and cooked, he told me so.

Man I used to work across the street from a small-time sushi shop in Manhattan a few years back. If you went there ~5:30 (when they were closing shop for the day) you could get 20+ pieces of day old sushi for $5.

We used to rack up $30 or $40 worth and take it back to our office and chill. Damn I miss those days. 🙁
