I don't see what's so great about throwing a bit of sake into crappy beer and chugging it, just a way for the restaurant to make more money.
I'll have something good to drink, take my time, and enjoy it.

Well, if you're willing to try stuff, I'd suggest unagi (freshwater eel). Too many people I know refuse to even try it, but it's really good. Additionally, I don't think that it tastes very fishy because it's cooked, and has a special sauce (unagi sauce) made with shoyu and rice wine, that's kind of similar to teriyaki.

Toro (tuna) also usually doesn't taste all that fishy, particularly with the better cuts, but they can be fairly pricey.

Dang, now I miss having fresh sushi in Tokyo already; what's worse is there's not even anywhere to get it here (other than the grocery store, bleh). :(
