Are ISO images of SUSE LINUX available on the Internet?
(Currently) SUSE does not make any ISO images of the normal SUSE LINUX version available. However, you can download an ISO image of our live evaluation version:
* Download Live Eval
The live evaluation version is a SUSE LINUX that runs from DVD and does not need to be installed. Furthermore, you can also install a complete SUSE LINUX directly from the FTP server.
They actually prevent you from downloading and installing updates?Originally posted by: IamElectro
It is basically a trial. After 180 days you are no longer able to recive updates unless you purchase a license. I just went through a training course for SUSE 9.3 Enterprise like 2 weeks ago.

"Please note that download versions of SUSE LINUX are not eligible for free installation support. However, you can make use of our advanced support offer."So theirs no trial?
I think you can update as long as the distro is supported by Novell/SUSE, however you "are not eligible for free instalationl support" as indicated above unless you use pay per incident support.So can I still use it after 180 days?

Still no answer? I got Suse Pro 9.3 for free during thier giveaway a while ago. Just got around to checking it out. But for some reason i can't seem to get it to boot. I got it to boot in VMware, but can't actually get it to boot when I restart my computer(yes I set my CDROM to boot first). Plus I am not sure, but is what I have the live DVD, or is it installable?
