Suse 9.3 Pro

This is just to let people know Linux has gotten so much easier since last time I've used it 2 years ago. Wow!!! Auto install stuff and got it fully configured, 3d and everything. Much easier than last time and SuSe 9.3 Pro is an awesome distro. w00t! Try it out yourself

Yep, I gotta agree that it is a pretty nice install, with everything just working. (On a Laptop.) I eventually got really tired of trying to get my wireless to work, so I stopped playing with it. I think I'm going to get back into it, but with Ubuntu.

Give me some info about ubuntu; that's a new distro and i read a little about it, can you give some extra info... i'm loving it I haven't been gaming, so it'll prob be a little while until I go bak into Windows.

debian sarge is much better

way faster, get the programs you need . no rpm dependencies problem . just use apt-get

I tried Suse 9.3 Pro on a computer I had lying around. Nothing but problems. It's still got a ways to go. It's nowhere as easy to use as Windows XP.

What's your linux background? How long did you use susu for and what were the problems? Just curious.
