suse 9.1

hi i loaded suse 9.1 proffesional which i got free and for the first 2 days it work, tho every time it booted up it said 'display hasnt register its x, y, values' or something like that.
now when i load up it stops and says something about $display being wrong.

i've run xf86config but no help at all. btw complete noob to linux, just thought i would have a play!!

cheers

Rather than running xf86config, try sax2 (or sax if sax2 doesn't work). That's SuSE's own special configurator, and it's generally easier to use and works much better with a SuSE installation.
