The i386 version of Suse 7.3 is now available for FTP install!!!! I downloaded the whole thing over 2 days....6 gigs worth of stuff.
 
I know disk space is dirt cheap these days, but why would you want to mirror 6 GB?

Unless you're a company, and plan on being able to roll out a bunch of desktops.

The FTP install only sucks down the RPMs you actually need; for a typical install this is 500 MB of transfers. Unless you have at least 8 machines to install to, you just wasted a lot of bandwidth.

Please use a mirror btw. 🙂
