suse 10 help

I just installed suse 10 eval and it seems plenty complete.
I am a true nood and still am able to for the most part get it going, only problem I have is no open gl support for my nvidia card the nvidia drivers say i must goto level 3 or something, im lost there and no ability to decode any movie files.
keeps talking about needing a back end.

but aside from these solvable problems it sure works great.

any help apreciated

Well I can post instructions on how to get the latest drivers (its not as hard as you think) or you can just install an older version from YOU (yast online update). Start YOU (there might be a green lizard icon in your icon tray for susewatcher, right-click on that and it should say start YOU) then when you see the screen to choose different patches, just scroll all the way to the bottom and it should say something about downloading the nvidia graphics driver. Just check that and install it.

This doesn't have anything to with your question, but in respond to the thread title you could go here: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/ for a lot of good suse tutorials. That's the site i used back when I was running suse 9.X. You should be able to find a lot of useful information there.
