No, it's not a coincidence and frankly I get tired of hearing this comment each time this thread comes up. Anandtech never hid the fact that they are trying to get more people to subscribe. It costs them money to run the forums and you're lucky that you can access the forums for free at all. It costs money, and lots of money, to run a site this big. Add on top of that the need for new hardware for new users and you've got a serious money pit. What do you want to bet that Mushkin, Crucial, and Googlegear.com don't touch the price of the forums? Short story: subscribe or don't complain about the speed. Or, go to f@twallet. That way the forums get faster for all of us. 😛Originally posted by: Bryan
