survivorman is returning!!!

survivorman man is better but bear grylls show is better. if survivorman had a cameraman it would make the show much more comfortable to watch.

Sweet, Survivorman was pretty much the standard for survivalist shows.

Thought Les wanted to quit because the show would have killed him?

Same ol same ol.
Its a reboot of man vs wild with a different person.

I'm not sure you understand...
Survivorman came first, before Man v Wild. Les Stroud is simply making more episodes.

Not to mention that Survivorman is a completely different show form Man v Wild. Survivorman is he goes in with the camera gear, alone, no off camera crap. He doesn't take risks that would be retarded in true survival situations (a la Bear Grylls). There is a place for Man v Wild, but Survivorman is a completely different show.

As someone who does survival and semi-survival outings for fun, I much prefer to watch Survivorman.

Whoa! I found a synopsis of the next episode of Survivorman:
Spoilers...
Les travels to a far away place, where he leaves his crew behind with instructions to pick him up after a week. Les divides his time equally in this episode into
A) Building a shelter
B) Starting a fire
C) Complaining about being hungry
D) Complaining about carrying his camera equipment around
E) Complaining about not sleeping well and worrying out loud about creatures that he has to worry about during the night
F) Playing the harmonica
G) Pointing out rookie mistakes he made with the construction of his shelter
G) Complaining that he's hungry, and excessively emoting about a thimble full of food.

That guy almost got eaten by a polar bear, he should retire.

He almost shit a brick when he encountered male mooses in heat in the foliage. More dangerous than bears. LOL.

Survivorman is a great show, but Bear is more entertaining due to a film crew. Both are interesting to watch.

Mexico, huh ??? Geez, that is clearly his most dangerous locale so far ! Don't worry about the moose in heat, worry about the drug cartels looking to hack your head off.

Survivorman > Bear in every way, shape and form.

Not only is Les doing what Bear is doing, he's doing it completely alone. By himself. No one else to rely on. No one to go and get him another water bottle. No one to help him set up shelter.

I love watching Survivorman and can't wait to see the new episodes.

No. Just no. Get out of this thread.
