lol tihs is the best season of this show ever, russel has to be the best player of survivor ever.

i really hope he wins.

This season is riveting. I hope Russell wins because he has earned it, but some others have been very smart to get to this point too, like Natalie and Brett imo. Brett hasn't done anything but at the same time has yet to have a single tribe vote against him iirc.

IF Shambo is pissed off enough, it'll be 4-4. If Russel can survive next week, which is highly likely since he has the immunity idol, he'll be in cruise control because his four original tribemates seem to be with him the entire way. Regardless, he's played a brilliant game so far.

There's no way Brett would get any votes on the jury if he did make final three. He hasn't done a thing. I don't think there's even been an interview with him.

Galu will just have to convince Shambo that it was Russell's idea to change the vote from Dave to John. That should get her to flip on Russell.

Russel will easily keep Shambo. He just has to tell her that he didn't have time to talk to her before the vote, and that it wasn't his idea. Dave can be next, and she will be ok. She's the least of his problems.

Agreed, just say some sh!t like that. I think he's got to convince her to keep dave on more week tho because he can use her, dave, monica, and brett to get rid of mick and jaison.

If Shambo flips on Russel leaving a 4-4 tie, Russel could try to get Dave on his side. Just approach dave and say "Shambo hates you, you were going to be voted off, I saved your ass, vote with me to get rid of Shambo."

Actually, Russell doesn't need shambo because he probably already has dave on his side (he just kept him in the game, enough to gain trust from most non-savvy players), and he also has Natalie, his #1 alliance.

Russell, Dave, Monica, Brett, Natalie.

Doesn't even have to use his immunity idol to get rid of Mick, Jaison, and Shambo (if she breaks with russell.)

Its going to be hard for remaining galu to secretly align with remaining foa foa to get rid of russell, even tho it would be the smartest thing to do, because if russell smells anything he'll use his immunity idol (and go find another later, lol.)

i think, if the producers keep doing what they like to do in their previews and mislead us(made it look like dave might be voted out)... russell's still safe next round

Well, considering Dave almost beat Jaison in the Immunity Idol challenge, I don't know if Russell would want Dave to stick around.

Just saw the episode again. Natalie is definitely growing on me. She was very strong on the plank challenge.

She was key in the challenge where you had to hang down and your team had to move you around. And then when she killed the rat. Golden. GO NATALIE!

She said in her initial interview that she was going to let everyone think she was this 'high maintenance' girl, but she's actually an aggressive athletic girl that plays softball, basketball, and soccer.

Natalie White (26)
Hometown: Van Buren, Ark.
Occupation: Pharmaceutical Sales

Natalie White is your typical Southern Belle, but she is definitely not afraid to get her hands dirty. “Friendly and savvy” are two of her attributes that her fellow castaways will pick-up on right away.

White plans to bring her background in pharmaceutical sales into the game and knows that if you do not make the cut, you are more than likely going to be cut. You either “make the numbers or go home.”

Natalie’s convinced that her ambitious personality will help her during the game. “I’m literally so competitive and scrappy that I don’t care if I have to dive on the ground and get bruised and scraped up, I’ll do it. I’ll do it to win. I love to compete.” Natalie will not waste any time changing her game plan if needed. “I’m observant and flexible, not to mention smart enough to know how to adapt to my surroundings.”

Currently, Natalie is in a relationship and resides in Van Buren, Ark. Her birth date is April 22nd.

I think she's played a really smart game so far.

Very cool, some good interviews too. Wish I knew this before.

Yeah, I would have loved to read it back before he hooked up with Julie.

"Damage Control"
New, 12/10/2009, Reality, Adventure
The castaways learn of a shocking twist that will ultimately result in two of them being sent home; a castaway gives a surprising performance at the Council.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with Russell. :D

russel just played some serious hard core shiznit.
He's got the biggest balls of anyone I can remember in this game. That was the most brilliant move I think I have ever seen.

Caution: Spoiler below.
To hang that idol around his neck prior to the discussions even starting is the work of a genius in the game of Survivor.

he pretty much put his balls on the table and said "come slice them, if you dare". Most impressive.

who would be dumb enough to vote russell off now, i'd be betting few on the jury would vote for russell so i would WANT to keep russell and go with him to the jury
you get to the final jury and just start talking about russell's millions of dollars and everyone he blind sided, who would vote for him to win?

he might be the best player, but the best doesn't always get the money
