How much quantity are you drinking the milk in? Break it up into smaller servings. If not, try a higher-fat percentage milk. I've had luck with that.

If you're having that much trouble, perhaps milk isn't best for you. Some people are lactose sensitive, but not intolerant. I've met people who can drink a glass or two, but get bloated and gassy after that. I can drink half a gallon of any milk with no problems. Maybe you should try another method or slow down the digestion of your milk by a) doing what Kipper says and getting a higher % milk or b) adding fiber, protein, or fat to your shake (through fiber supplement, berries, whey protein, eggs, olive oil, etc).

I can polish off a gallon of milk like it was water and still want more. But if i add even one scoop of protein powder to the milk i will have the worst gas known to man. Seperate i have no problems but togethor my stomach turns into some kind of bad laboratory:thumbsdown:

Just get your milk threshold down and mix in other high calorie foods instead. I did GOMAD for about a month... I am lucky in that I can drink milk to no end with no problems.

It's not vital that you GOMAD per se, it's the ease and cheapness of whole milk and it's nutrients.

There's a lady at work who (almost) does this, but she never, ever exercises. She literally drinks 5 gallons of 2% milk each week D:. I would estimate that she's about 5'3" and over 400 lbs.

Edit: Obviously her weight is not solely a result of drinking milk, but if she switched to drinking 1 gallon of milk and 4 gallons of water per week and left the rest of her diet the same, she'd lose over 2 lbs. per week! I mentioned that to try to help because she's a friend of mine, but she hasn't changed her diet. I said it in a nice way and seemed to not offend her.
