No, it would not be good to do it long term. You should watch Survivor this week if you don't normally. Those people have survived on rice, water, small amounts of fruit and fish for 30 some days now. ewwww i hate brown rice... only white for me... do i need a protein vitamin... id prefer not to have one... (this is only an idea)

No, you would need to take something like a Centrum multivitamin on a daily basis. Bananas and rice don't contain all the nutrients your body needs. They just contain carbs. You need some protein in there, too. Could you throw in some milk and/or beans maybe a couple of times a week? Beans are really cheap.
These sorts of diets are always a bad idea. I knew someone who went on an all potato diet for several years. It ended up ruining his kidneys and he goes in for dialysis sessions twice a week. He needs a new kidney now.
