If the people who used it had any sense , I would prefer airbags . But since they don't , and you can't pay someone to give a sh!t , I'll go with bubble wrap.
I have gotten several items with airbags at the top of the packaging and the product laying on the bottom.
 
Whatever I have on hand. If I just got an Amazon, I'll use air bag. But mostly I use bubble wraps. I have lots of peanuts though.
 
Usually I use bubble wrap or paper to stuff the voids in the box.

But I usually do have a lot of peanuts from stuff I buy online, and instead of throwing them away, I just reuse them.
